ROSE MARY, age 97, of Philadelphia passed peacefully in her sleep on May, 31, 2022. Rose was born and raised on 2300 S. Percy Street in South Philadelphia. She never lost her sense of being part of a neighborhood with family and friends close by. Her door was always open to anyone. She was a seamstress and retired early to take care of her mother in their home. Rose enjoyed to travel, the casinos and reading. Her main hobby was crocheting. She made numerous baby blankets and she donated over 600 baby hats for preemie babies. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Rose Mary was pre deceased by her parents Dominic and Theresa (nee Longo). She was the sole survivor of four siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Funeral Tuesday morning, June 7th, from 10:00 to 10:45 Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Streets. Funeral Mass to begin 11:00 A.M.
Internment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA
