Obituary for Robert D Buerklin
BUERKLIN
Robert D., Sr., age 78, May 21, 2022. Beloved companion of Camille Sylvestro and her children Ron and Karen. Devoted father of Robert Buerklin, Jr., Joseph Buerklin and John Buerklin. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Hanna and Lana Rose; great grandfather of Adeline. Dear brother of Madge Hatfield; uncle of Stephen, Jeffrey, Ali, Gabriella and Nicholas; also survived by great nieces and great nephews.
Bob was a member of the South Philadelphia String Band from the early eighties. He loved to cook and ran their kitchen for years. He was the founder, host and cook of the Doo Wop Community! His passion for singing and witty humor was known to all. He was the superintendent for 30 plus years at Whitman Court Apartments. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Monday morning, June 6th, 9:00 to 10;45 A.M. at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets. Funeral mass to begin 11:00 A.M.
Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul cemetery, Springfield, PA
