ZYGMUND “Ziggy”, age 89, May 5, 2022. Beloved Companion of 30 years to Rachel Alesiani; also survived by her children Greg (Maggie) Alesiani and Mark (Carol) Alesiani and her six grandchildren, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ziggy loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them on vacations to Disney, New York and the Jersey shore. As an animal lover, he adored his dog, Snoopy, and his other furry grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing the lottery on his daily trips to Dunkin Donuts, watching Westerns and following the Eagles along with the other Philly Teams. Ever the life of the party, he entertained all with his dancing skills, particularly ballroom dancing. Ziggy always kept family and friends laughing with his antics. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday morning, May 11th, 9:00 to 9:45 A.M. at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets. Funeral Mass to begin 10:00 A.M.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to The National Shrine of St. John Neumann, 1019 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19123 in Zygmund’s memory.
