Jacobi, Dr.
Athole G., (nee: McNeil); “Henrietta Pagan Athole Graeme McNeil Jacobi” March 25, 2022 of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. Wife of the late Dr. Donald Jacobi.
Her accomplishments were Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology, Medical College of Pennsylvania (1972-1989); Medical Director, Acute Care Laboratory, Medical College of Pennsylvania (1972-1991); Co-Director, Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia Graduate School, Medical College of Pennsylvania (1981-1991); Professor, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Medical College of Pennsylvania (1982-1993); Fellow of the Faculty of Anaesthestists to Royal College of Surgeons of England; Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England; Member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists, the Philadelphia Society of Anesthesiologists, the Philadelphia County Medical Society; Chairman of the Society of Academic Anesthesia (1992-1989). Benefactor and Friend to Temple University, the Philadelphia Police Athletic League, Methodist Home for Children, Philabundance, and countless other charities. Member of the Board of Visitors for the School of Medicine at Temple University. Former Chairperson of the Education Committee at PAL; Member of the Scholarship Foundation Board at PAL. Avid supporter of Temple Athletics including the Football Program and the Temple Rowing Team; Supporter of Temple’s research into the study of brain injuries in athletics. Avid rower while attending school in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A gathering of friends of Dr. Jacobi will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc., 2238 S. Broad St., (at Wolf St.) Philadelphia, PA 19145.
